The story behind the print
Las Tardes was taken at a cute little beach I loved shooting at in Mexico. This particular afternoon, I was doing a creative content session for a woman. It was the middle of summer, swelteringly hot, heavy with humidity. I decided to switch things up and shoot from a different angle using this beautiful palm tree silhouetted by the sun. I darkened the settings to shift the mood. It was very different from how I usually shoot, more wider and moodier. As the moments were unfolding and I was photographing her, I spotted a young boy walking across the beach. The wind happened to sweep through the palm leaves at just the right time. Everything came together in this shot, the blazing sun, the breeze moving the palms, and the boy drifting through the frame. One of those fleeting, perfect moments.
