About

A lover of dreamy natural light, I'm an Australian photographer based in Cabarita Beach in the Northern Rivers of NSW. After six years living and working in Sayulita, Mexico, I returned home in 2024 to continue my creative journey along the Australian east coast. I specialise in surf, lifestyle, brand, editorial and fine art photography.

As a female surf photographer working across Byron Bay, the Gold Coast and beyond, I draw on the beauty of natural elements and vibrant colours.

I'm inspired by those crispy flecks of magic salty light dancing in front of my lens, painting romantic stories of ethereal dreams, surfer goddesses, and oceanic landscapes. I'm available for projects both locally and internationally.

My Creative Career

From Motion Design to Photography and everything in-between

Where it all began... well actually at the age of three, writing my name in green textra on my baby sister's belly or on walls. But since then, my creative career began in 2006, when I landed an internship at Network Ten in Sydney as a Broadcast Designer (Motion Graphic Designer) while completing my degree at the University of Technology, Sydney. After graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) with Honours, I went on to work as a Junior Broadcast and Print Designer at Network Ten’s then sports channel, ONE HD in 2010.

This is where I really got to find my strengths, developing design ideas and concepts and learning how strong visual storytelling supports on air promo campaigns. This is when I also discovered my love for working on live action shoots, the intensity, the hands on and collaboration with a bigger team for promo campaigns like So You Think You Can Dance for Network Ten and The Chefs’ Line for SBS.

My career as a Motion Designer taught me how to develop concepts and pitches for large scale on air campaigns, while gaining first hand insight into the inner workings of creative and advertising agencies, television networks, and production houses. I learned every step of the process, from interpreting a marketing brief, through concept development, storyboarding and pitching, to production and post production.

In 2011, I began running my own freelance Motion Design business. Over the next few years, I took on a few full time roles while continuing to work with freelance clients. In 2016, I expanded my creative practice into photography and have since been running my freelance photography business, along with my motion work. Across both practices, my skill set has naturally grown to include basic videography, video editing, creative direction, creative writing, digital design and marketing, and content creation.

In 2018, I left my Senior Motion Designer position at SBS to pursue my photography career. From there, I was able to pour my love and energy into my photography business and build it to where it is today, later bringing my motion design freelance work back into the picture.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of photography, motion design, and creative direction, allowing me to support brands with flexible, end to end creative solutions.
